Three Years Since Russia’s Invasion
As we mark three years since Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, our Mission reaffirms our commitment to humanitarian work while addressing recent concerning developments.
The Facts
Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia is the aggressor. We cannot remain silent as revisionist narratives emerge. The evidence is clear: Russian troops streaming from Belarus toward Kyiv, the Bucha massacre, the Mariupol theatre bombing killing 300 civilians, indiscriminate destruction of schools, hospitals, and churches, and displacement of 12 million Ukrainians.
Critical Concerns
- Recent US proposals for “economic partnership” could hobble Ukraine financially without security guarantees
Loss of USAID funding has eliminated hundreds of vital projects: energy infrastructure repair, immunizations, school/hospital rebuilding, veteran support, first responder equipment, water systems For the first time, the US joined Russia, North Korea, Iran, and Belarus in voting against the annual UN Resolution condemning Russia’s invasion
Our Continued Mission
Despite political turmoil, our work continues:
- Prosthetic clinic operations in western Ukraine
Supply deliveries into Ukraine Art therapy programs in Warsaw Love Does School lunch program Supporting those who sacrificed everything for freedom
The Ukrainian people need support now more than ever. We will continue our humanitarian mission as long as our generous donors stand with us.
Slava Ukraine!
